React Native Developer (Android / iOS)
We are looking for a React Native mobile app developer to join Develogi who can independently build a high-quality app for Android and iOS, from the first screen to the release on Google Play and the App Store.
What you'll do
- Building mobile apps for Android and iOS in React Native
- Connecting to backend APIs, authentication and working with data, offline too
- Implementing native features such as notifications, the camera or geolocation
- Testing, performance tuning and bug fixing
- Building and releasing apps to Google Play and the App Store
- Working with designers, backend developers and testers
What you need
- React Native (Hooks, New Architecture: Fabric, TurboModules, JSI)
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- Expo (EAS Build, EAS Submit, EAS Update, Expo Router), or bare React Native
- Navigation: React Navigation or Expo Router
- State and data management: Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack Query
- Connecting to REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, JWT, secure storage)
- Local storage: AsyncStorage, MMKV, SQLite (expo-sqlite, op-sqlite) or WatermelonDB
- Push notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging, APNs, Expo Notifications
- Releasing apps: Google Play Console, App Store Connect, TestFlight
- Git, Android Studio, Xcode, emulators and simulators
Nice to have
- Native development: Kotlin / Java (Android), Swift / Objective-C (iOS), building native modules
- Build and distribution: Gradle, CocoaPods, Fastlane, code signing, provisioning profiles
- Mobile CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Codemagic or Azure DevOps
- Testing: Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Maestro, Appium
- Animation and UI: Reanimated, Gesture Handler, React Native Skia, NativeWind, Tamagui, React Native Paper
- Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, App Distribution), Sentry
- Native features: maps and geolocation, the camera, biometrics (Face ID / fingerprint), Bluetooth / BLE, NFC
- Payments and monetization: Apple Pay, Google Pay, in-app purchases (RevenueCat)
- Offline-first approach, data sync, deep linking (Universal Links / App Links)
- Performance and debugging: React Native DevTools, Hermes, Reactotron, profiling
- Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, mobile accessibility
- React / Next.js for the web version of an app
- AI tools (e.g. Copilot) and on-device AI
