Automation Tester
We are looking for an Automation Tester to join Develogi who can independently design and build automated tests from the user interface through APIs to integrations, and look after quality across .NET, Java and React applications.
What you'll do
- Designing the test strategy and test scenarios
- Building and maintaining automated UI, API and integration tests
- Running tests in the CI/CD pipeline and catching regressions before every release
- Analyzing bugs and working with developers on the fixes
- Reporting on quality to the team and the customer
- Gradually extending and improving the test framework
What you need
- UI test automation: Playwright, Cypress or Selenium WebDriver
- Writing and maintaining tests in TypeScript / JavaScript, C# or Java
- Testing .NET applications: C#, xUnit, NUnit or MSTest, Reqnroll (the successor to SpecFlow), Moq / NSubstitute, Playwright for .NET
- or testing Java applications: JUnit 5, TestNG, REST Assured, Selenide, Mockito, Maven / Gradle
- or testing React frontends: TypeScript, Jest or Vitest, React Testing Library, MSW (Mock Service Worker)
- API testing: Postman / Newman, Bruno or Insomnia, REST, GraphQL, Swagger / OpenAPI
- Page Object Model, test scenario design, the test pyramid, regression and smoke tests
- SQL for preparing and checking test data (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Nice to have
- BDD and Gherkin (Cucumber, Reqnroll)
- Performance and load tests: k6, JMeter, Gatling or NBomber
- Test environments and mocking: Docker, Testcontainers, WireMock
- Contract tests (Pact) and testing microservices and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
- Visual regression and accessibility: Percy, Chromatic, Applitools, axe-core, Lighthouse, WCAG
- Mobile testing: Appium, Detox, Maestro, BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Reporting and test management: Allure, Xray, TestRail, Jira, Azure Test Plans
- Security testing: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, OWASP Top 10
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure or AWS, monitoring (Application Insights, Grafana)
- AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Playwright MCP) for generating and maintaining tests
- ISTQB certification (Foundation, Test Automation Engineer)
