Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer focused on React and Next.js to join Develogi who can independently turn designs into fast, accessible and maintainable web applications.
What you'll do
- Building web applications in React and Next.js
- Turning Figma designs into reusable components
- Connecting to REST and GraphQL APIs and managing data on the frontend
- Optimizing performance, SEO and accessibility (Core Web Vitals, WCAG)
- Writing tests and code reviews
- Working with designers and backend developers
What you need
- React 18 / 19 (Hooks, Context API, Suspense, Actions, Server and Client Components)
- Next.js with the App Router (SSR / SSG / ISR, streaming, Server Actions, Route Handlers, Middleware / Proxy, data caching and revalidation)
- TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES2023+)
- HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Flexbox / Grid
- Styling: Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules or Sass
- State and data management: TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand or SWR
- Forms and validation: React Hook Form, Zod / Yup
- Connecting to REST and GraphQL APIs (Apollo Client, urql, OpenAPI generators)
- Git, npm / pnpm, Turbopack and Vite, ESLint, Prettier
Nice to have
- UI libraries and design systems: shadcn/ui, Radix UI, MUI, Ant Design, Headless UI, Storybook
- Testing: Vitest / Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress, MSW
- Authentication: Auth.js (NextAuth), Better Auth, Clerk, Microsoft Entra ID (MSAL), OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
- Performance and SEO: Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, next/image, code splitting, lazy loading, structured data
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.2, ARIA) and localization (next-intl, i18next)
- Deploying and hosting Next.js: Vercel, Azure App Service / Container Apps, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Monorepos: Turborepo or Nx
- The Pages Router and migrating older Next.js applications to the App Router
- Headless CMS: Strapi, Sanity, Contentful or headless WordPress
- Animation and visualization: Framer Motion, GSAP, Recharts, Chart.js, D3.js
- Monitoring and analytics: Sentry, Application Insights, Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4
- Figma and working with a UX / UI designer
- AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, v0) and the Vercel AI SDK
- Basic backend knowledge (.NET or Node.js) and ORMs (Prisma, Drizzle)

Someone who can break an interface down into reusable components, work things out with the designer and the backend, and take a feature all the way to production.
